Tiffany and Kevin
Welcome! My name is Tiffany. I am a wife to a wonderful husband named Kevin. He is my best friend and the love of my life. We are blessed with the cutest little guy, Joseph. In May, we will be adding another addition to our family...another little boy! Kevin and I have been married for four and a half years. Over the last year, we have learned that our son, Joseph, has ventriculomegaly and epilepsy. My mission with this blog is to help other parents who are struggling with ventriculomegaly, external hydrocephalus seizures, and BESS Syndrome.
If you were wondering where I came up with the name for this blog.... Well, it's a verse from the Bible (starting at Matthew 6:25) that my husband has quoted several times to me when I start worrying too much. I thought it was very appropriate.
Joseph
Meet Joseph! Our sweet almost two year old! This is really his story. We are just along for the ride. He has taught us so much and has made us stronger as a family. He has ventriculomegaly and epilepsy (complex partial/generalized seizures). We learned he had ventriculomegaly due to external hydrocephalus in May of 2011, which changed to ventriculomegaly due to white matter loss on January 2013. We learned he had seizures in September of 2012.

Jonathan
Joseph's little brother is due May 17, 2013. Things are going great, but doctors are concerned he might also have BESS. He has ventriculomegaly, due to his ventricles being dilated above "normal." One is 11.1 mm and the other is 14.2 mm (at 26 weeks). We are praying they do not enlarge anymore. They have enlarged from "the upper end of normal," which was 9 mm, since our 18 week ultrasound.
